After suffering an accident and seriously injuring his spine, Marcus Bonna designed a case for himself, lighter, compact and with a completely new design, to facilitate the transport of his instrument, as the cases that were on the market were large and heavy.
- 1991MB Foundation
The case was so successful among colleagues in the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra that soon Marcus and Kathia founded the MBCases and started the making of the cases in Kathia Bonna's father's garage.
- 1991First Export
The first export made by MB was to Munich, Germany. The box was transported on top of Marcus Bonna's own car. He personally took it to the airport.
- 1993Own Address
MB now has its own address, moving from Kathia Bonna's father's garage to a slightly larger place.
- 2000Building Expansion
The first renovation of the company building is carried out with the construction of 2 extra floors.
- 2005Increase in Production
The Company already manufactured cases for the horn, trumpet, trombone, bassoon instruments…., And also accessories such as mutes were already part of the production line.
- 2007New Headquarters
The construction of a new MBCases Company headquarters in the city of Bragança Paulista (São Paulo countryside) began
- 2008Inauguration of the New Headquarters
The end of 2008 inaugurates the MBCases Company new Headquarters.
- 2010Market Expansion
With a broader space, the company starts to serve more regions. Exporting to more than 25 countries, all cases are handcrafted from the structure of the case to its finish.
- 2013Headquarters Expansion
With 22 years, MB Cases is a well-known company in the music industry with the best case and excellent finish. From the beginning, thinking of transporting the instruments safely and being the lightest case on the market. With the growth in production, the company expands one of its sectors to a new building with the intention of meeting demand.
- 2017New Headquarters Expansion
After a few years, the company begins a new renovation, expanding the laminating sector even further (making the structure in fiberglass or carbon fiber in the case)
- 2017New Headquarters Expansion and Social Project Facility Construction
When the work is completed, the company that has been developing a Social Project since 2009, cedes part of the facilities to become the new facility for the Lyra Bragança Project. Know More...
